One of my assignments for this term is to do three twenty minute photoshop/painter experiments every week. :D For the last two weeks, I decided to refrain from painting and just play with layers and photographs. :D


Mira is ALWAYS a good person to use for CG! I find myself making CGings of her quite frequently and she's modeled for me a few times for drawings and paintings. I think it's pretty safe to call her one of my muses. ;D




This one was loads of fun. I used a picture of Chloe Winkel I had and just played around. I'll admit that I took longer than twenty minutes but that was because I wanted her to be holding the bottle, so I edited the bottle in. In the original picture, she was holding a chihuahua so I had to paint it out. XD


I was going for a 'Dave McKean' kind of feel to these and it was a lot fun! I think I'll do more like these! <3

These are really pretty! The first one is a very balanced composition, and it has a kind of world traveler/romantic mood to it. The second shows the Dave McKean inspiration a little more with the mask, text, and lower background color. Both are very cool! You should post more.

Thanks!! XD And you LIE!!! A lot of what I did was play with the layer settings and opacities, as well as some creative erasing. I'm sure you've done it before :D

Wow, those look fantastic!!! Your work always blows me away, lass... and the Dave McKean feel is VERY noticable! I'm a huge fan of his work, and I'm a HUGE fan of yours. ~_^
