Back! BACK I SAY!
Yesterday, I stood in for my supervisor, who has a cold. My entire department seems to have the same cold as well. Today, she wanted me to shadow her (basically sit in her cube and learn from watching her work).
Sindy: I hope I don't give you this cold, take some zinc or drink orange juice just to make sure.
Me: Oh, don't worry, I'll be FINE! I don't catch colds easily! *laughs pompously*
Famous fucking last words. I feel sniffly, coughy, and slightly headachey so I'm nursing a green tea and looking to an early bedtime after a very hot and steamy bath. Way ta go body! Get sick and bleed at the same time! Woo hoo! XO Ugh, this is the WORST TIME EVER TO GET SICK!
