Happy Crafts!
Mandy had asked me to make a bag for her to carry her art supplies in and bought the fabric, but after I cut out the pieces, I ended up losing them because I fail! Anyway, after a lot of cleaning and organizing, I found the pieces again and finally put it together. :D
The stripes and flowers were a happy accident! I had run out of fabric for the lining of the flap and found a lot of leftover suede from my Pocahontas costume. But because I'm anal, I had to make the suede part of the design so I thought of appliquing suede flowers onto the flap, then realized that they disappeared into the fabric. Bias tape stripes made it pop nicely!
I love the fabric on the inside <3

Only thing left to do is sew on the buttons and the button holes!
