My friend is a major costumer, knows all the costuming links and resources, especially for doing hobbits. She even made me a custom made elf-dress which I wore to Trilogy Tuesday (yes we scored those elusive Tickets. They Showed Fellowship Extended Edition, Two Towers Extended Edition, and the Premiere of Return of the King on the Tuesday before it opened at only 99 theatres in the US).
Now my whole thing is what costume are you most appealed by, see I'd personally go for Pippin because I think his Gondorian uniform and armor is simply stunning.
