Oy the vey. x.x Tom was the one who actually got me into Harry Potter. Turn off? No. It makes our relationship much more fun! ^.~

They should preface it by saying normal women.

HAHAHAHHA... hillarious. I tend to laugh at guys who read fantasy but that's just because I immediately associate it with star trek nerds and those people who don't shower at those sci-fi conventions etc etc... doesn't help when Conan O'Brien makes fun of them. lol... anyway... plus I could never get into Harry Potter. I mean, I have guy friends who read fantasy books... but I dunno... it's not really sometimes that is a turn on... nor is it a particular turn off i guess. NOR is reading emily bronte. GOD i hate emily bronte.. if a guy told me they read freakin' Wuthering Heights, I'd have to question his sexuality. If they liked it.. then it's confirmed.

I like a man who reads the REAL stuff... Irving, Morrison, and Hemingway...

Ew...reccommending pretension. Why on EARTH would you try to hide something that's a part of you when trying to attract a mate? Sheesh. I can see the conversation now.

Male: (reads Bronte)

Female: Oooh! Bronte! Don't you just love Mr. Rochester? So dark and broody.

Male: Uh huh.

Female: Of course, Professor Snape can outbrood him any day, and the Ringwraiths are obviously more dark. They really can't help it.

Male: (had already fallen into doze at mention of Bronte discussion)

Female: Are you listening at all?

Male: 'snerk. snore.

Female: (buries him in sand)
