Sounds like a good cause to me! Got the meme from soletta

1) Pick a song, your favorite at the moment perhaps. state the song title and which artist originally sang it.
2) Sing the song with the mp3 (or your official CD single)
3) record you singing with the mp3/cd, using your handy-dandy computer sound recorder / or phone, if you can do the LJ phone post thing
4) upload the sound file to your journal
5) tag 3 friends. tag-backs allow. Because this is karaoke, you get more than one turn. Song suggestions can be included in tag-backs.

I'm singing the ending of Yubiwa from the Escaflowne movie, will be singing acapella because it just sounds baaad if you sing it with the fuzzy mp3 =P
