Still Alive, Really!
I've been absent the last few weeks! Apologies all around for those who have tried to get in contact with me! Mostly, I have been relaxing and enjoying my vacation before school starts again for me on Saturday. Yes, I have a Saturday class. Yes, it sucks that it's on Saturday but the class itself is my intended career so I'm excited about it. For all of the difficulty I had last term in my classes, I actually got straight Bs! I was so impressed with myself, even the evil teacher gave me a B!
Lately, aside from reading, I've been writing a lot. I'm working on a short romance story and plotting out a parody romance novel, the romance novel is for pure egotism, as in "I CAN DO BETTER." My writing has been improving "leaps and bounds" as Mandy once said, I'm saying that I'm pretty good, but that's blowing my own horn. I wonder if I wrote a piece of fiction if anyone would read it. I've posted 100 word compositions on my journal before but I haven't recieved comments for them. Who knows?
This term is lighter for me, just three classes so I can put a portfolio together and research internships. I'm trying to decide what I want to go into, whether it be movies, video games, or animation. I know I want to do character design but I don't know what kind of character designs I want to do yet. I'm kind of leaning towards Cartoon Network because they've been developing anime style cartoons, but there's a huge part of me that wants to go out and explore the unknown... and the unknown for me is New Zealand. Maybe it's a pipe dream because I don't think I have what it takes to work for Weta but I'll never know until I try, right? I'm planning on putting together a small portfolio of my paintings and artwork and see what happens next week at ORC.
It's been a good break, last year was also a very good year. It was a year where so many different things happened and I've gained some wonderful new friends. I know that I'm a very fortunate individual and incredibly blessed to have so many different, yet interesting people in my life and while I don't say it enough, I hope all of you special people know that I hold you all close in my heart. =)

I took a a Saturday class once. It was a Math class, only because I didn't want to deal with it everyday. I passed the class with a B. :) The everyday teachers were piling tons and tons of homework on you, and I didn't want that. What I liked about the class is that I was given one whole week to do my homework. :)
