More Grooks... this time by ME!

I really didn't plan on posting in LJ... and then Sam had to start writing grooks. So really, all his fault. *shakes fist at Sam* Maybe I should get a writing journal sometime... or just a journal for creative spurts in particular. I ended up writing these in class to try to keep myself awake and working since I got only about three to four hours of sleep last night and I really do suck at poetry, but grooks feel a lot easier because they're so nice and short!

Silhouettes
"Silhouettes are just so great!"
My teacher cries.
And yet I have to wonder about
The greatness of only seeing in blacks and whites.

Escape Artist
Watch her vanish into thin air,
With the greatest of ease.
But when she emerges,
New creations will be released.

Perspective
The spotlight is on you as your problems close in
And wrought with pain, you will scream and curse.
But if you seek beyond the light and into darkness,
There is always someone who's going through much worse.

Amaury
For someone who is known to be
Quiet and solitary,
You sure are loud when you demand I tell
Your story.

Rhapsody
It's kind of like 'Brokeback Mountain' in a way.
Rambling, introspective, and very down with the gay.

Maybe I should just start replying to everyone's LJs in grook form! :D
