bluejeans07: (Pink Ship of LOVE!)
Just a little update! Rey and I were playing around with our lovely new Digicam and took lots of pics of various hamster poses and video game stuff! Rey always wanted me to have 'Skies of Arcadia' icons because he claims that I look like Princess Moegi... okay so I do look like Princess Moegi! XD I maintain that Rey acts like Gilder who's most famous quote is: "Women are like sunsets, they're all beautiful and there's a different one everyday!"

Hahaha! He has a new Gilder icon now too, one of him winking and looking smug with himself! Bwahahhaa!

Emily: We took some niiiiceee Aika screencaps for you if you want them!!

And I love my Pink Ship Clara icon! On the pink ship of LOVE!!

Just like... our pink christmas tree... or our pink apartment!!

I had this lovely rantage up about my anger towards Disney's slow destruction of their 2D animation studios... and then it disappeared >=( So I shall write it again!

Anyway, I read on Aimee's LJ a great article about how Disney is slowly getting rid of 2D animation and it royally ticked me off. Even though I'm not an animation major, I am a lover and creator of art and I hate it when I see creativity wasted and destroyed. Disney has so many animators willing to work insanely to create a wonderful film or TV series, as well as so many animators and future animators who dream of working for Disney, to be part of the creative process. Working for Disney WAS a huge honor and an emblem of pride, and now Eisner has gone ahead and is plotting the destruction of it.

This the first time but now I can't help but point the Finger of Accusation at him as well as glare at him with the Eye of Shame. Fie on you Eisner! Fie on your money-grubbing ways and your massacre of creativity, as well as your willingness to put thousands of hard-working and loyal employees out of work for your own selfish goals!

3D is cool and impressive and a great show of modern technology and art molded into one, but 2D is the solid rock that no one could ever get tired of! If that's the case, why is anime so popular? Anime is based on 2D drawings with 3D coloration and maybe some special effects, but there is still 2D! Blood and sweat and drawing skills go into it! Not just drawing characters but creating beautiful backgrounds and making the story flow!

And what's up with cutting the pay of thousands of hard-working animators, and then turing around and giving executives a $400,000 raise? Just to get Roy E. Disney out of there so that Eisner can reap in more profits?

Eisner is a murderer of creativity, art, and the future of 2D animation at Disney! And I am deeply sorrowful as well as angered that he is so willingly leading it to its untimely doom.
