Outrageous!

Angela lent me her JEM DVD first season so I'm playing that in the background XD I'm so out of it right now, Halloween night was so much fun!! Lynleigh, Angela and I began the night by watching the haunted hotels on the Travelers' channel, and Lynleigh told us ghost stories about Pasadena and Disneyland. Scary!! I had made stars and heart-shaped meatloaf so we all ate that with rice, then decided to watch some Jem and the Holograms!! Man, that show really takes me back XD

We got ready to go to Ruby (a club). I tend to get ready before everyone else does so I sat and watched more Jem while Lyn and Angela got dressed. We stopped by Kie and Lily's place and went "TRICK OR TREAT!" Kie's new hairstyle is so cute!!!! Those two need to join us as Danse and Shana =P So we went to the ATMs (including the haunted one but we didn't see anything) and then jetted off to go to the club!! It was REALLY REALLY CROWDED X_X;; We danced on the main floor for a good bit, Angela found a cellphone on the ground so I held onto it since I had a purse and I was going to check it in at the ticket booth, but two girls ran up to us asking if we had seen a cellphone, so I gave it to them and they were so happy that they kept hugging and thanking me! We danced some more but I kept getting attacked by some guy's tacky, feathered boa store-bought wings so we left that area and took a breather by the doors. There was a small area where less people were dancing that had booths for sitting, so we went to dance over there. Of course we had a few moments of smelly, drunk, and unwelcome guys trying to dance with us (really, it would be SO MUCH easier if guys didn't go to clubs to pick up girls. It doesn't work, especially since girls don't go to clubs to pick up boys!) but they left quickly. One girl came up to us asking if we were dressed as Jem and the Holograms, when we told her we were, she SQUEALED and said she was going to come as Jem!! She was like, "You guys just made my night!!!!" Outrageous!

We finished the night by going to Carrows for some food and drinks. On the way in, three guys stopped us by going, "Hey!! Jem and the Holograms!" and proceeded to name the characters we were dressed as. THAT was definately the highlight of the night, especially since they were BOYS!!! XD

It was a lot of fun but yeah, clubbing really does leave something to be desired. Such as actual space to dance in, and no ugly, drunk guys trying to get laid =P

Tomorrow is the first time I will vote in an election. I am looking forward to it and have been doing my research on issues and candidates so I am up and coming on matters! But I'm at the point I feel I can't watch TV anymore or I'll scream because of all the different proposition commercials. Here's a prop for you: NO MORE PROP COMMERCIALS. STOP TRYING TO BRAIN WASH ME.

I really like RocktheVote.com and SmartVoter.org for my information =) I should be doing homework tho but this research is definately important. While I'll be keeping my choices private, I will say that I hope peace will come soon. I am anti-war, anti-violence, and anti-unnecessary death of millions of individuals, and I vote in hopes to have a small hand in protecting lives instead of creating deaths. I understand that not everyone agrees with my POV, I still encourage everyone who is registered to vote for your beliefs and don't let anyone stop you. Not the government, friends, family, or even yourself.

And like Karisu posted in her LJ: please get a paper ballot. Don't trust the new machines, there have already been several articles and news portions that show that the new machines are faulty and not to be trusted.
