The week has barely started and I'm already EXHAUSTED

I saw someone on my f-list declare the 100 mile radius around them to be a drama-free zone and I'm seriously thinking that they have the right idea. While I can quite happily ignore and write off cosplay drama and RP drama as ridiculous and not worth devoting my energy and brain cells to, school drama is an entirely different matter. *facepalm* Especially since I'M NOT REALLY INVOLVED and the only reason for me being there is because it happened IN MY CLASS. But I just recieved a huge compliment when I found out I was the first person called, because I found out that not only do the Department Chairs know my name and my face, I apparently have a reputation with them. "Oh, let's see, who was in that class when the wank happened? OH LOOK, JEAN'S THERE! Great! Jean is smart, rational, and nonpartial, let's call her!" It's a small Illustration Department after all (not really, we're the biggest department in the school).

In other news, I have campus interviews in two weeks. Two of the companies I'm going to be interviewing with is Pixar and LucasFilm. I don't think I'll get in with either company, but I'm still terrified. So, no AX for me so I can try to really pump up my portfolio.

*sigh* I'm not too happy about it, I WANT to be at AX, I WANT to see CLAMP and see my friends and just have fun for a day, but in the great scheme of things of 'possible employment with awesome company versus one day of merriment,' there's no comparison. So you guys who are going, HAVE FUN FOR ME.

*crawls back into her hole and works on artwork sulking*
