Nope, still hasn't hit me yet. I still think I need to go to ACCD in a few weeks for the fall term. Instead, I'll be going somewhere else for a bit and then... who knows. Mike, my new fearless leader of the new school, has numerous connections to the companies I want to go to and he said he'll help me out, so that's a relief.

Lots of things to do during the next six months, need to fix up the resume a bit, work on website, and set up art blogger. Fix up artwork too while I'm at it, I have a lot of paintings I want to fix up or finish.

After Alix came over, the two of us went out looking at vintage clothes like Aardvarks and a cute store in South Pas called Hot Box. Alix wanted the band shirts but not for $100. XD We also went to Urban Outfitters where I bought an originally $108 dress for $16 and Alix bought hot pink satin sheets for $5, woooo hooo! I miss Alix already! ;_; She hopped onto the plane back to Louisville yesterday and had... an interesting time getting home. But she is home and she is safe and all is well.

Now that I'm on indefinate break, I have time to do stuffs! Last night, I went through all of the fabric in my bins and organized them into usable fabrics (for normal clothes and stuff) and unusable fabrics. Guess which pile was bigger. What made me happy was that I found that I had a LOT of kimono fabric left over from my hanabi costume! Whee! Must figure out what to make. I packed away a lot of my old costumes too, ones that could be folded and put in my printer box so that it doesn't take up so much space in my closet. I'm thinking about selling my costumes but I'm very lazy to do things like shipping and mailing and stuff. I need to do that on my old textbooks too.

I got to start reading books again while Alix was over, YAY! I finally finished 'The Rhinoceros who Quoted Nietzsche and Other Odd Acquaintances'by Peter S. Beagle and boy was I a happy little Jean. I'm reading again!! Woo! I'm finishing books again! The book was good, btw, lots of really interesting short stories. I've started reading 'Folk of the Air' by Peter awhile ago, in fact, I had to keep restarting reading the book numerous times because I couldn't remember the beginning. *facepalm* But now, I can finally sit down and reeeaaad! I've also entertained thoughts of writing again as well.

So many possibilities! Oh, and it looks like I'm going to WorldCon on Wednsday with Anne and Mandy! YAAAAAAAY! Mandy suggested we cosplay as the Endless, except Anne will refuse to be Destiny because she hasn't read Sandman. Boooooo!

Speaking of Sandman, Neil recently was Best Man at a wedding and this is what he had to say about it: "Personally, I think every wedding party should be decorated with Kirby blow-ups, and every wedding table should be named after a comics character and decorated accordingly (we were on Delirium Table, because it had the coolest flower arrangement). This may not be practical for all weddings, but I'm glad it was for this one."

Awesome. I so want a wedding like that, if I have a wedding at all. Current plans for wedding involve running away to England and eloping, then a big tango party somewhere. 'Course, need to find potential sexy brained groom first. XD
