Never Give Up! Never Surrender!

People talking about Galaxy Quest on my friends list makes me REALLY WANT TO WATCH THE MOVIE AGAIN. I'm going to start NetFlicks soon, I should put that at the top of my order, hee hee hee. Mmmmmmmm Alan Rickman... <3

I went over to see Paff and Kie and found FUR EVERYWHERE. Lots and lots of fur in multiple colors. Lots and lots of fur in multiple colors that are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooft. Makes me want to sew again, I had to put aside my sewing machine and crafts because of work and classes starting, plus multiple art projects that I started. Although I have to start sewing my Toph costume to get in time for Halloween, maybe I should start cutting that out... I'm really excited about Halloween this year because I'll be spending at the studio! I have heard vague promises of go-carts and haunted houses on the premisis... mwa ha ha! And I've seen pictures of the creators of Avatar dressed up as Zuko and Aang last year, maybe they'll do it this year again! XD

This internship seriously is one of the best things I've ever done. The first week opened my eyes to possibilities and new directions that I could go for my career. This second week helped me realize really where I want to go in terms of what I can do and which show to work for. There is a position open that I'm applying for but I don't think I'll get it since I'm pretty inexperienced, I might be a bit too far out of my league. But because I'm an intern, I'm allowed to try out various tests so this is amazing practice, plus I've met and made friends with the recruiter who gave me lots of great advice for my portfolio and what I could do to beef it up. I'm really happy right now, in the past few months, I've been content with my life and with the work I've done for school, but right now, I'm just so happy because I know there's a place for me. It also helps that the place is absolutely the awesomest place on earth where there's free food, fun people, and lots of opportunities to really see, hear, and touch to see how great cartoons are made.

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
that washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is a noble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain,
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
