Random Free Food

So today (although technically 'yesterday' now), I had an internship class at work. Basically, we have four, five classes that are optional to attend but we learn about post production, pitching, casting, writing, etc and they're generally good classes to go to. Today's class was post-production, but since Alison (the recruiter and Goddess of the Interns) was out sick and so was the post production dude, it was basically the interns sat around and stared at each other until we decided to try working the huge TV in the conference room and watched cartoons. We were still fed though and ohhhh was it good fooding: veggies, pasta salad, three different kinds of sandwiches on croissants, assorted fruits, brownies, and lemon bars. YUM. Of course, word of free food spred lile wildfire throughout the studio and we had Moochers. And since we're lowly interns, we had to share instead of beating the Moochers off with a stick.

I don't work on Fridays, I work from Monday to Thursdays from 10AM to 4:30PM or 6PM depending on the days. But of course, I happen to walk by CourtneyMan, one of the managers in my department. Here's how our conversation went:

CourtneyMan: OH Jean, I didn't know you were here today!"
Me: I don't work today, but I had a class here that got canceled but there's foodness so I'm sticking around.
CourtneyMan: I have a teeeeensy little bit of work for you to dooooo~
Me: Coouuuurtneeey but I don't work todaaay... I'm here for the food-Oh FINE. Stop doing the wibbly lip thing. You're lucky that I like you.

It wasn't much anyway, just photocopying and I was happy to do it because CourtneyMan= FUN. XD I got swag yesterday from work too, a Beowulf t-shirt and a Transformers t-shirt! Woo hoo! :D
