Go Out? Who has the TIME?!

My internship is over within two weeks and I've been applying for jobs up the wazoo. Right now, I'm in the tedious 'wait and see' period so I've been keeping myself busy. I managed to get my hands on a character design test for fun so it's an interesting thing to try, I'm determined to finish it before my internship so I've been working on it with little rest. Highlighting hair will have to take a backseat. Am planning on going home this weekend, and then immediately running to the Museum of Natural History to do animal drawings.

My free time (or what little I have of it) has been spent working on art, I'm either in class or I'm drawing or painting. I've been working on a short comic book and I finally got character designs done, as well as doing their turn-arounds and color studies, but I need to get the writer's permission to post them. *twiddles thumbs* I need to fix the composition on the thumbnails I've done for the pages and then color key them... which will probably happen AFTER I finish my character test. It's a lot of fun though, I'm designing this cuuuuute little girl character for part of it and it's interesting, I have to exaggerate soooo much. XD Biiiiig head, itty bitty little body!

So that's my life so far. Whee!
