Gratuitous Cat Post

I took a lot of pictures of Atom when he was a wee kitten, knowing that he wasn't going to stay tiny for very long.


Atom's first Halloween three years ago! We'd probably only found him a few days ago and Mom spotted this baby blanket in the one dollar section at Target.


I took this photo two days after Halloween this year. Atom in that same baby blanket! XD The expression remains the same too.

Korean Spicy Eggplant Dish

Eggplant
Potato
Onion
Garlic
Pork slices (any bit will do but also include some fatty bits)
Gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste)
Sesame seeds
Sesame oil
Soy sauce
Water

Chop up all the ingredients into edible pieces and put all into a pot. Add 1 1/2 cup of water to the pot so it's about the same height as the ingredients. Let it simmer for a long time on a low heat, until potatoes are soft and the water has evaporated a little. Taste it and splashes of soy sauce to get the flavor right.
