bluejeans07I'm getting flashbacks to cosplaying. It's kinda amusing yet not welcome because I'm sewing like mad and it's distracting! I'm trying to finish my Halloween costume by tomorrow so I could wear it to work and there's not enough time to be as meticulous as I want to be. Poor costume is becoming a rush job, yet I'm being anal with it as much as I can. However, I'm making a bunch of stupid mistakes in since I'm not being as careful as I can be, so I have to go back, pick out stuff, or re-sew stuff. Not to mention I'm working without a pattern! X_X
Good thing is is that I hardly had to buy any fabric for it so I saved money, and the costume is super comfy and easy to move around in so it won't get in my way. I get to wear my costume at least twice before this month ends so I'm happy about that as well!
Sewing is still lots of fun for me though and I think I've really improved, I can make stuff without patterns and it will still look good. And I can line stuff pretty quickly too! I'm pretty happy with this costume even with the whole rushingness behind it. I'll post piccies tomorrow when it's all done!
