Anime's Circumstances, People's Hypocrasy

I watched the end of Vision of Escaflowne today... I've been watching a lot of anime with anti-war themes. With Escaflowne, the love between Van and Hitomi stop the 'fate' machine and change predestined war torn land into a land of peace and ended with Van pulling out the core of Escaflowne so it wouldn't be needed any longer. In Martian Successor Nadesico, the love between Yurika and Akito stopped 'boson jumping' an essential weapon for the war which is basically teleportation. In Gundam Wing, the battle between Heero and Zechs was telecast for everyone in the colonies and on earth to see and shocked the viewers with the disgusting sight of battle, hatred, and death, with also the power of Relena Peacecraft insisting for peace and giving guidence to people.
Yet look at our reality. Anime teaches children and people that peace is 'good' and war is 'evil'. Yet so many people who watch it and preach it turn around and support the war that may happen. Children are taught that fighting is 'bad' and being kind to others is 'good'... but the people who teach them these lessons don't heed it themselves. Hypocrites. All of them.
Don't support the war effort. Even if people don't believe in peace, they should be able to believe in the keen eyes of the children who watch everything that happens and remembers it.
Today... I hit Sally and Mommy yelled at me for that. She sent me in the corner for a time out and then sat me down to tell me that fighting is bad and fighting makes more fighting and it won't stop until everyone gets hurt. But earlier... Daddy said something bad to Mommy and she hit him because she was angry. I'm confused.
