Atomic Kitty

Just got back from the vet and Petco. Kitten is a boy, he's five weeks old, and once you start playing with him and petting him, he's a lover. He does hiss if you try to go near him the first round but aside from that, petting and stroking and loving, oh yeah, he's so up for it. Right now, we have him in the bathroom because Mom's doing laundry, but after that, he'll be moved to the laundry room/kitchen area.
Dad got to name him, he's really getting into this 'having a cat' thing. He even made me promise to call him as soon as I found out the gender, so I did. Cat's now named Atom after Astro boy. XD Dad's reasoning is that his ears make him look like Atom's hair style.
So far, everything's good. Atom's too young to get vaccinated and after combing him, he's cleaner and fluffier. He LOVES being combed! So far, everything seems good so I'm glad. I do have to go back to the vet with a stool sample but I'm going to do that after I eat.
The vet told me I shouldn't wash him yet because we don't want to change his body temperature, but he has some stuff clumped up in his hind legs that I can't really clean off. I did use some wipes on him and tried going through it with a comb but it doesn't seem to be working. He has a little diarrhea too, poor thing, but the vet said he should be all right.
Phew... busy~
