You know, nearly everyone I know has, at some point, said 'my family is so stubborn, it's the Irish/English/Hungarian/Jewish/Korean/Chinese/French/Scottish/Italian/etc.' I think perhaps this might just be a human characteristic. :) (Additionally it is delightfully suggestive to say 'it comes from the human side of the family.')
