1. Agreed to an extent! Because it forces you to feel doesn't always make it a good drama, but it got people to feel, to react, etc. It entertained even in the most dramatic way! To look at it simply, it did what it said out to do. All the drama around it from the fans is just bonus (and slightly bogus).
2. That's... yeah. Homophobic is a STRONG word to use and really, it was used wrongly. Personally, I think RTD deserves a huge apology for that.
