So the most interesting development that has happened in the two-ish months since my last comment is that I discovered, if I ignore the burn, it goes away after a little while, and there's no irritation when I wash the mask off. It's super weird. Even the Lush masks I use do it, and they're all natural, so I have no idea why my skin does that.
