Weekeeendeers!!

Cici had been wanting to take me to karaoke for awhile since she missed the Iron Chef partay, so we arranged to do it on Friday, but unfortunetly, Lyn and I didn't make until happy hour was over. But we all went anyway and had a great time singing random songs that we all loooveed! Sis and I kept doing Utada songs and we would sing together a lot, Rey once remarked he was jealous on how the two of us managed to sing well together XD Hey Sis! Let's arrange a duet sometime!! Sang with Lynleigh for a few songs too and I did a few K-pop songs! Wheee! This makes me want to get back into K-pop again... maybe I will maybe I won't. Afterwards, we went to Denny's and got nummy deep fried food!
On Saturday, I went to Rey's brother's fiancee's nephew's one year birthday party. Rey had originally bought the little boy a dancing singing hampster but because I kept playing with it, we decided to get Joshua a new gift so we found this cute puppy toy that talks and walks and stuff and bought that instead. We also bought a cat and dog plushies for ourselves, later christening them Britney and Christina. Anyway, once again, I was the only NON PHILIPINO person there. People kept speaking Tagalog to me and found it incredibly funny when I just answered back in English, hella nonchalantly. Rey was toooo amused -_- So was Rey's brother in law Noel. Dammit, I gotta learn Tagalog >=(
Anyway, later that day, we GOT INTO IT at Nelson's. I ended up borrowing some Nadessico and Tokyo Babylon DVDs from him since he's pretty cool with lending stuff. While Rey and Nelson duked it out in that basketball game thingy, I read Nelson's manga, Marmalade Boy and GTO. We all hit Kinokiya before going to Cocary and I was very pleased to discover volume four of Wish and volume one of KareKano! Whee! Must start collecting manga again. I kept reading them the entire night since the conversation really didn't interest me. Nelson teased me about being IN DA ZONE which I was because I was soooo happy to be finishing Wish... but man, the ending disappointed me. =( *SPOILER* How can someone just 'drop dead' after being perfectly happy for awhile? Rachael insisted to me that he died because he got hit by a car, but there was no sound affect of screeching breaks or flashing headlights in the pages! Then later, she agreed that he just dropped dead. Damn, I'm disapppointed, CLAMP had the opportunity to do SO MUCH MORE for Wish and yet... the ending was just BAD... boo...*End of SPOILER* But I still love CLAMP anyway!!
On Sunday, Rey came over for some more time with me, I fixed him some omlette for lunch, watched KareKano and we went out for a bit to run some errands. I had to deposite a few checks, buy a canvas and some groceries for dinner that night. We get back home and find Rachael and Lyn back from lunch at Lil Tok. I was feeling sleepy and so was Rey so we both curled up on the bed and took a lil nap. When I got up, I started to fix BBQ chicken legs for dinner and some rice, when Angela called saying that she and Lisa were coming over. I started to worry about lack of food so I quickly dished out some instant teriyaki noodles, but we had enough to feed everyone. Rey could NOT stop insisting that I looked like Moegi from Skies of Arcadia and showed it to EVERYONE. Fine, I WILL cosplay MOEGI =P When I have time -_-;;;
