Now to get some stuff off my chest

Sorry if I offended anyone in anyway possible by writing in my LJ about my own peace-driven views on war. Especially for those who are pro-war. I'm confused on how I feel because I've never felt like this before, it's funny, I read the pro-war entries and esp when anti-war peeps are being bashed, I can't help but feel targeted. It's quite hurtful especially since _I_ haven't said being pro-war is wrong, it's a matter of opinion if you support the war or not. I think it's possible to be pro something and not bash the other. I'm just trying to say here that I'm not putting down anyone or targeting anybody, just please consider my feelings and other anti-war people feelings about bashing us, and that goes for the anti-war people too. Bashing each other isn't going to get this war over anytime soon.

Another thing I feel confused about is the whole 'LJ etiquette'. Unknowingly, I have made my LJ very public by being on friends lists and making my own list. I just use my list to read people's entries, especially those who are my friends and hard to keep in contact with. But there are some people who either don't know me or I don't know them or who I don't want knowing my very personal experiences and opinions that have me on their list. No one says that I have to put them on my list or not so that they can read my friends' entries, yet when I get asked to add them it feels very strange, frustrating even. I don't want to insult anyone by NOT adding them but I don't want them to be able to READ my more private entries because I HAD to add them, because of unspoken etiquette. Does that make sense??
