Mar. 4th, 2006 10:57 amI have one of the lead Star Wars artists lecturing my Inventive Character design class today! ;D
...I can't remember his name right now though. I'll be back later once I remember what his name is... but it's quite funny because I have his picture on my cell phone from when a bunch of artists did a signing at Vromans Bookstore last summer. And then poof, walk into class today and THERE HE IS! =O
Edit: Hokay, his name is Iian McCaig and he designed Darth Maul and Queen Amidala. In fact, I had met him before at Vromans with a few other artists when I went with Jenntrude and Flo. XD He showed us his process of designing a character and we watched him draw one, which was pretty freaking sweet. And he had a lot of good things to say about our teacher too, which is nice to hear. =)
