And the ball keeps rolling

Things are going in motion slowly for graduation and for post-graduation stuff so both things are being taken care of a lot more smoothly than I anticipated. I interviwed over the phone with a company I'm interested in interning for, it went well, I felt better prepared since I actually missed their first phone call when I was driving home from class, so I got to take a few calming breaths, run over possible answers through my mind and then call them back and have a phone interview. The thing is that company only takes students as interns so I enrolled over at another nearby art school that one of my teachers recommended. I just got a call from that school today so I have a meeting with them tomorrow at 10AM to see if I could get a special scholarship or work part time for them to help pay my tuition.

I don't really mind continuing school for one more term, I want to improve on my figure drawing and I like working with teachers in a classroom setting, plus this school is new but the teachers there are really solid. A lot of them are former teachers at ACCD, the director of the school actually recognized me at Comic Con even though I never had him. He remembered me over the phone as well when my teacher recommended me to him. At least my career will slowly be taking off, even if I don't get the internship, I might be able to get a job at another company through the new school. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch so I'm keeping mum but I have to say that the future doesn't look too dismal anymore. Everything is progressing at a good pace and I rather like that.

Things left to do are one painting, readying prints for Grad Show, and starting on my thank you cards and gifts for my teachers. Work work work work work!
