What I did on my summer non-vacation...

One more week! One more week til Grad Show and graduation! One more day! One more day till Alix arrives!

This summer has been full of work, insanity, and dramatics but I've persisted in working, prioritizing, and the future is looking a lot brighter than it did when I started this term. I missed a lot of things, I didn't go out much, and I became rather antisocial but I can say with great relief that life is grood.

On a side note, I'm completely in love with Arashi's Aozora Pedal single. Summer is my most favorite season and the songs on it are so... summery. The songs show three different kinds of summer: nostalgic, advenarous, and romantic. Everything that summer vacation is supposed to be. While it feels like I missed out on having a fun and exciting summer, I had music to make up for it. I even made a summer music mix that I listen to quite often, along with the Lovely Kel's Pirate Mix. And of course, my mini-revel a few entries back. ;D

After graduation, I plan on invading the beach with a thick wedge of watermelon in my hands! If I'm lucky, there will be enough time for me to go on a mini-break somewhere. Probably nowhere out of the country, that'll have to be shelved for some other time, but maybe I could go somewhere for a few days. Maybe New York, or Virginia... or maybe a certain special someone could come here. ;D

I was mooning over the performance and sighing about how beautiful her singing is, when my mom walks into the room.

Jean: Mom... did you know that Ock Juhyun and Finkl were at the Hollywood bowl? T_T

Mom: I did. I asked if you wanted to go!!

Jean: ...NO YOU DID NOT O_O

Mom: I told you that Korean singers were going to be at the Hollywood bowl!

Jean: YOU HAVE TO BE MORE SPECIFIC!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE FULL OF THOSE FOLKY FOGIE SONGS YOU AND DADDY ALWAYS LISTEN TO!

Mom: You said NO! We even had a TICKET!

Jean: ...*facepalm*

Ohhhh if I could turn back time T_T

And then DADDY comes into the room...
Jean: Daddy... did you know that Ock Juhyun and Finkl were at the Hollywood bowl? T_T

Daddy: Yeah! We had two tickets!

Jean: ...I LOVE THEM. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!

Daddy: *confused* You do? I didn't know you liked them!

Jean: I HAVE ALL OF THEIR CDS!

Daddy: I didn't know!

Jean: YOU BOUGHT THEM FOR ME! *bawls*

Daddy: o_o *escapes from psycho daughter*
