Family Makes Life Chaotic
Mar. 26th, 2007 10:48 amMy mother is going to Korea with my grandmother on Thursday, so she asked me to come and basically fill her shoes. So guess who's cooking, cleaning, and being all house-wifey for the rather pathetic men in her family? My dad's pretty much set in his ways, but my brother is moldable so he's going to learn how to do laundry and make a few dishes because dammit, guys who can cook are sexy and I'm going to turn him into a hot studmuffin for the girls when he goes to college. Besides, I already lost one brother to the instant-ramen lifestyle in college, I'm determined not to have that fate for the CUTE brother! For Dad, I plan on torturing him with Hello Kitty bentos. MWAHAHAHAHAA!
But thinking that I should come here and spend some time with my grandmother before she goes, I drove home on Sunday, only to be told to go back to my flat TODAY by my mother because she's paranoid about me driving to school tonight and driving home in the rain. Not only that, but I'm going to Cartoon Network on Wednesday, and on Thursday, I have class, but I figured that I'd just drive there from home because hey, whatever, I can drive, I have my iPod, I can sing along to music in da car. Now she's making me have second thoughts because I'd be able to stay in my flat, everything would be really close by, I can print stuff out on nice paper, and not be bothered... except I already gave my mail key to Tabitha and the flat is pretty much empty of all things edible so I'd have to go grocery shopping...
*sigh*
Being filial SUCKS.
