STILL ALIVE
Apr. 1st, 2007 01:04 pmI find my title to be strangely ironic with my choice of icon. Anyway, I haven't been crushed by tetosterone yet, Dad and I are magically getting along (and are at two different locations of the house at all times), Timmy is adorable, and Charlie is invisible... so life is going on. I've been doing the dishes mostly but Mom left loads of food behind so that I don't have to cook everyday. Dad and Timmy volunteered to do the laundry while I cook dinner tonight so that's really nice. I may bake some lava muffins mostly because I want some.
The only annoying thing is that I've gone over to Burbank/Pasadena area nearly every day. It takes an hour to get there and get back, and it only got worse on Friday because the hill over the freeway was on fire. It was still a good distance away so I was safe, but it meant that everyone was either slowing down to look at it or trying to get the hell out of there. Because of the fire, there was ash everywhere and the ventilation over at the studio was filled with it and burning my eyes and throat. Other than that, I don't really mind long drives as long as I can sing along to my iPod or have Mandy in the car with me. :D I also went over to Cartoon Network studios for the first time, my Character Design teacher had invited me so that I could meet artists and drop off my portfolio, as well as show me around so that was reeeaaally fun. :D
What also was really fun was that I obtained tickets to the Kids Choice Awards and took my brother. :D Lots of pretty people were there but the only thing I could think of was, "LOOK! PBs!" That's kind of bad, isn't it? I got rather squeeful when Jack Black suddenly appeared on stage <3 but other than that, it was very relaxed. Lots of screaming kids and slime everywhere, so that was major fun. Timmy had a great time and I was happy to take him. :D
Tomorrow is my last class and I've been full on job hunting. It's frustrating but at least it's going somewhere. I've taken a few tests, I have access to a few other ones, and there are a lot of good companies that I'd love to work for, even if I had to leave California to go work for them. One's even in New York, so that would be exciting! It'd be nice not having to drive, but I think part of me would really miss driving. Anyway, that's all from me.
Oh, and I love
callmecaito because she makes me laugh. :D
