I was a dead ninja at the beach yesterday surrounded by ukuleles and had flowers dropped on me. Sweet! There is photographic evidence somewhere on the internets (I know but I ain't tellin'~) but if anyone really wants to see it, go search for Amanda Palmer beach party or something on flick. XD It turned out to be quite a big thing but it ended up being a lot of fun with lots of good music and fun people with ukuleles and flowers. And of course, BEACH! After it was over, I went into the water for a bit and just enjoyed being part of it all. I relaaaaxed, which is a good thing, because I can't seem to relax sometimes, I'm always thinking that I need to be doing something. But the beach manages to make me relax and just go, "Hey. This is now. Look at where you are and breath."

And I breathed.

I did finally listen to Amanda Palmer's music the day I went (I felt it would be a good thing to edumacate myself) and boy, I was missing out! The lyrics of her songs, the instrumentals, the strength in her voice, woooow~! Especially her lyrics, they're so poignant and each song is like a complete short story. Awesome. Totally need to buy her album among the other things I need/want to buy.

Something stinks in this side of the house, it totally smells like burning dust. Ewww~

There's a big family reunion coming up in July for my grandmother's 80th birthday (probably a good thing I'm missing Comic Con this year because it's on that weekend) and Mom asked me to design a t-shirt. Now, she said she only wants it for like, my generation since we're the 'kids' but I'm trying to convince her that I could design a nice age/gender neutral t-shirt that won't say scream cheesy FAMILY REUNION OMG WE SO MATCHY that everyone could wear. My argument mainly is that there are at least 12 shirts that would have to be made if I was only doing the kid shirts which are too many to make by myself but too few to take the silk screener and pay for, it's not worth the money. But if I made a shirt for everyone in the family (that's about 50 crazy Koreans), that's totally worth the money since most silk screeners make things in bulk.

Mom is being stubborn and so am I. It's the Korean in us. :P Anyway, if anyone has thoughts about this, I'd like to hear it!

There is also going to be Epic Karaoke Competition in our family, because when we do karaoke, it is always Epic and Competitive because we are Korean. I'm getting my Susan Boyle face on!

One last thing, Tardis Big Bang is up! I did a cover piece this year: http://tardisbigbang.livejournal.com/38533.html
