Since I had gotten requests to draw Hogwarts themed icons for peeps, I realized that I had done a design for my version of what a Hogwarts uniform should look like. So whenever I draw students at Hogwarts, that's ultimately what they're wearing. Anyway, since no one aside from Mandy knew my design for a Hogwarts uniform looked like, I went through my old sketchbooks to find it, and find it I did.

The basic uniform is the same for everyone, but every house gets a different tie, or bow that goes around their neck. Girls have shirts, vests, skirts, and knee socks in gray, then a black robe goes over the entire thing and buttons in front. The boys get a similar outfit only their sleeves aren't puffed and they have slacks. Cloaks can go over both but the robe has a hood.
Gryffindor: regular ties, gold and red striped
Hufflepuff: girls get large striped bows in house colors, boys get matching bowties
Ravenclaw: I forget what these ties are called but they go around the neck and snap shut. They're just in blue and have a small bronze pin that keeps it closed
Slytherin: Kind of like a striped scarf that ties, boys just knot theirs but girls tie them in a cute bow
But aside from finding the design, I got to go through some of my old sketchbooks from high school to early college. Oh my gawd. This made me feel REALLY good about myself and how much I've improved as an artist. There was this huge flood of memories as I flipped through several pages through several sketchbooks. I found notes written with friends, doodles of myself in SD, and other general nostalgic unsanity. I had to scan this one in and post it though, it's not an amazing piece of work but it's pretty funny XD My friends and I were sitting together, ready to take an AP test in the middle school library (the middle school and high school were connected) when the middle school bulletin came on and annoyed the hell out of already stressed out students. This was my retaliation... type... thing...

SD girls are Mandy (theropicus,) Anne (rapunzel800,) and myself XD I'm the one with the jacket and the squinty eyes. Mandy has the pigtails, Anne has the long ponytail. XD
I miss high school suddenly~ XD
