First Post of the Year

bluejeans07Happy New Year all! Spent New Year's Eve at a drag queen club with Lacey and some of her friends and had a marvelous time! The drag queens were rather amazing looking, I managed to get a few pictures on my cellphone camera but it really doesn't do them justice XD Of course, I didn't get drunk, just had a Midori Sour and some champagne, but other than that, nothing really happened aside from walking out smelling like cigerettes and alcohol XD I did manage to get kissies for the new year though! *fishie smoochies!!!*
I also got to watch King Kong, which was EXCELLENT. I love how clever Peter Jackson is with his timing and the way he puts a film together, so amazing!
What's really exciting for me is that I'm FINALLY BEING ABLE TO READ!! I'm reading 'Good Omens' by Neil Gaimen and Terry Prachett, which I absolutely adore! I borrowed it from Mandy and it's fast becoming a favorite book since I always end up snickling or laughing about something or the other. I'm also reading 'Die for Love' by Elizabeth Peters but I put that down so that my aunt could read it and I did a naughty thing by reading ahead XD I also read 'The Sandman: Endless Nights' which I also adored and I still have 'Wizard of Earthsea' to pick up, but I'm taking my time with that. I'm so happy! My poor cousin Sydney though, she doesn't understand what I enjoy about books and tried to hide 'Die For Love' once so I couldn't read it XD It was very cute.
Anyway, I hope everyone had a happy new year and I'll be getting back to CA on the 5th and I'll still have time to PARTAY~
