No more school for three weeks! Woot! FREEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOM!
*ahem*
Anyway, in the span of this one term, I've joined myspace and blogger. Myspace I joined in order to keep up with my friends from school that have graduated *SOB* and blogger because I just joined an artblog!! :D If any of you are interested in seeing artwork done by girlfriends and I from school, please go here: http://girlart.blogspot.com/
It's a bit small for now, but I'm sure it'll grow once the hoopala of END OF TERM is over. Basically, it's a place to post up art and get crits from each other... and yes, it's all women! Viva la extra x-chromosome!
Even though the term is over, WHY AM I STILL BUSY?! I left class on Thursday at midnight (after getting my ego nice and swollen by the long list of compliments my teacher gave me, WOOT), went home, went back to school on Friday to confirm internship, credits, and scheduling (not at all confirmed AT ALL, won't be until MAY), and then went back for Friday Night Grad Show. Then slept in on Saturday for a bit and headed off for Graduation. A lot of my friends who started school the same time I did graduated this term. I was very sad to see them go but I'm very proud of them! Josie's going to be working for the company that designed Jurassic Park, Alien, Predator and the Terminator movies! WOOT! Another friend got asked to work at PIXAR! A few guys I know were interviewed to be artists for Blizzard! This brings me much hope for myself when I graduate, even with the current economic slump and the lack of design jobs in the entertainment industry at the moment.
And guess what I did all day today? I CLEANED! My apartment always looks like it exploded during finals, this time was no exception so after graduation and lunch with friends, I ended up cleaning out my closet and rearranging and reorganizing everything. Tomorrow is vacuuming and cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom X_X Insane Jean. Insaaaneee!
I have a lot of goals for myself this term and this time, I'm not procrastinating. I started doing sketches for an original story I'm thinking of using as my final project, also as an effort to clean up my sketching style since I tend to scrawl a lot. Plus, I finally got back to work on the Remus Lupin Project. WOOT! I'm finally PAINTING! I'm feeling virtuous. So virtuous that I think I deserve ice cream. Yum!
P.S. And my icon? That was one of my final projects. Yeah, I think I'm insane for doing that much perspective as well. WOO, VANISHING POINTS!
