In which Jean actually WATCHES TV

bluejeans07I watched TV today! It was amazing! Usually, the only TV I watch is LOST (WHICH I WILL GET TO), but today I managed to catch House, M.D. Now, I think House is a BRILLIANT show, I've only watched the first eight episodes but I ended up really enjoying those episodes. Good dialogue, WONDERFUL acting, and HUGH LAURIE who I think is BRILLIANT. It's basically Sherlock Holmes in modern medicine, which in itself is a very original and interesting concept. And really... it's all Sam's fault I got to watching House because he started writing FICS for the show. REALLY GOOD ONES TOO, so I had to actually start watching so I understand what happens in his fics and I don't skip huge parts just to get to the boysecks. XD Or mansecks in this case. I already have a favorite character, I'm rather partial to Dr. Wilson and if I ever needed an oncologist, I'd want him to be just like Wilson <3 And there's Dr. Chase who is just delicious. AND has a sexy accent.
Also watched various shows on Nickelodeon for field research, including Avatar. Avatar is actually pretty good, I may have to start watching it in earnest now. The animation kinda sucked in the episode I watched though, no one had SHADOWS! It was a BRIGHT, SUNNY DAY, OF COURSE THEY HAVE SHADOWS! Nickelodeon is getting the 'American Anime' done pretty well, I'm genuinely impressed.

Whew, had to get that off my chest.
Jean's Theory: Michael shot himself in the arm, blamed it on Henry, Henry dies in some way (dood, I'm amazed Henry's actually LASTED this long), and in turns controls the whole camp so he could turn in the entire camp to get Walt back. I'm sad that Libby died though, she had AMAZING potential in her character because of her backstory. I'm thinking that her whole "I'm a shrink" thing is a lie, I think she remembers what it was like in the mental institution and thus uses the techniques to make people THINK she's a shrink. And I bet she's stalking Hurley. Not too sad that Ana Lucia died though, I never really liked her as a character and because of her attitude and behavior, I figured she wouldn't last that long anyway. I did like how they ended her though, they showed her as someone who really did change and was a different person, despite what it was like on the island.
I was getting all metaphoric on Ana Lucia's and Kate's characters. Ana Lucia's character feels like a reflection of Kate's, she's a bad girl but she's a police officer, someone who's charged to do good. Kate is a good girl yet she's committed a crime so she's labled as someone who would do evil. And the two of them are basically the replacement for each other, one went with Sawyer, the other went with Jack. And now that Ana Lucia's dead, it will never happen.
...except I can't say that. Dead people walk the island. LIKE JACK'S DAD. Who knows, maybe they all come back as zombies. As we know now, the island has amazing healing powers. The island heals cripples, tumors, even problems with shooting blanks, I'm sure it can bring people back from the dead. Not everyone though, SPECIFIC dead people.
And when Ana Lucia shagged Sawyer and stole his gun. AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Sawyer got PLAYED!
OMG BOSTON, WOOT! *dances*

My theory is that Michael made a deal with the Others and is luring the camp into a trap. I think he made a deal with them because of his lies about the Others living like animals. I don't think that's true since the hatches show they are technologically advanced and it seems like the worn clothes are just costumes, based on what Kate found in the medical hatch.
I never liked Michael. He sucks!
