bluejeans07I was feeling rather burnt out from all the work I've been doing so I cleaned my apartment and reorganized a few things. Target quickly turned into my second home after I had been going there and buying stuff three days in a row (mostly storage units and a few accessories... and uh... I finally submitted and bought House, Season 1). Yay, printer is no longer on a chair! Cleaned out my kitchen cabinets and the bathroom too, and finally replaced that Disney princess shower curtain so everything matches! Decorated a few things too, the $1 bin at Target is my new best friend! I got some really cute paper lanterns and a circle wall mobile. The only thing that doesn't match now is my comforter cover. It's pretty worn out anyway, I've had it since high school, but I couldn't find one I liked at Target. Maybe I'll have to go to Ikea or make it myself, but I'll deal with that after graduation.
It's good that I'm cleaning now since Alix is coming on the 12th and with all the work I have to do in prep for Grad Show, I wouldn't have had time to thoroughly clean before her visit. Now, all I have to do is tidy up a bit, probably just put a few things away and vacuum. I'm really looking forward to her visit, we talked about various things that we could do like go to the beach for a day, visit the mall, maybe go to the Arboretum or the Huntington since she's never been there. It looks like we don't have time to visit Disneyland and with all the craziness of being the last week of school, plus Grad Show, plus Graduation, we probably won't be able to go too far. The weekend of the 19th is going to be a lot of fun though, aside from that being my graduation date, it's Mandy's birthday so we're going to have a sleepover at my flat where there shall be CAKE! <3<3<3
