Psychic Guilt!

bluejeans07Mom did her usual thing of calling me up to go home last minute where for a family gathering. This time, it was her birthday. I get really peeved at this, I hate these expectations of me having to drop EVERYTHING to run home for something I was not told in advance for! Plus, I didn't have enough time to make a gift for her so I was more than a little annoyed. Luckily. the resteraunt is really close to my apartment and I agreed to meet with the family there, then go back to my flat.
However, Mom had other plans. PSYCHIC other plans. I couldn't fall asleep, so I got up and worked on her birthday gift until four in the morning, then I went to bed. And THEN I had TWO dreams of me being at my parents' house and it was after dinner where the entire family (extended family included) and me having no idea if I drove home or if someone picked me up, and panicking on how I was going to get back to my apartment. Mom was being measured for a necklace and she asked me if semi-precious stones were better than crystals.
...completely unfair. *gives up and starts cleaning to go home*
On the plus side, I wonder if the psychic powers are an inherited trait. Since perfect pitch missed me (thanks Dad!), maybe I have a shot at that, although I think it may be a side effect from her menopause.
