Fun day of Fun!
Sep. 13th, 2007 09:52 amIn a mad attempt to escape from the construction going on, I grabbed Anne and dragged her off to Max Karaoke, Asahiya, and Nijiya Market. Damn, I love that area, I love how it's so freaking close now too! Max Karaoke actually used to be Yu Yu but they were completely taken over, which is really nice since it means I won't have to go to Torrance to sing karaoke anymore! Anyway, it was just Anne and me and we had fun singing anime songs (both of us), J-pop songs (me), and a few English ones, mostly show tunes (mostly her but I sang a few as well). Ahhh, karaoke! How I have missed thee! I remember when I used to go every few weeks with people to go sing my lungs out in languages that I barely knew, those days seem so faaaaar awaaaaaaay~ D:
Anyway, we went up to Asahiya book store afterwards since it was in the same complex and I found the May 2007 issue of Switch with the really gorgeous black and white photos of Arashi in it! *_* So gorgeous, such a good photoshoot, and so many photos! They're all dressed relatively nicely too, which is RARE. I gave in and bought it. Anne bought mochi ice cream from Nijiya market! Mmm, red bean flavor. I nearly bought melon pan but I resisted. D:
On the way home, I thought it'd be a laugh to turn on the Japanese Disney songs that James had sent me! Oh man, James seriously needs to send me more Japanese Disney songs, especially the entire one to Nightmare Before Christmas, the guy who plays Jack is AWESOME BEYOND WORDS. Anyway, the day ended with grabbing my PS2 (which needs a name) and running over to Mandy's to play Kingdom Hearts 2. Fun day of fuuun~!
I wish summer would last forever! D: What's also been tickling my funny bone is that Sean and James (my lovely new friends from Canada) have been finding it funny to send IMs to me in Hiragana after discovering that I can read in Japanese a little bit...
bluejeans07: The Japanese Aladdin songs are probably funny >.>
James: アラビアナーアイト! (ARABIAN NIIIIIGHTS!)
bluejeans07: HAHAHAHAAHA!
James: You can read katakana?
bluejeans07: A little :D
bluejeans07: I can read hiragana a lot better
James: ほんとう? (O RLY?)
bluejeans07: Hai, honto desu :D (YA RLY)
James: わああ!えいごがだいきらいですよ! (WOW! I HATE ZE ENGLISH!)
bluejeans07: Ah sumimasen! XD (I be sorry you hate ze English.)
James: 漢字がよむことができますか。(Can you read complicated Chinese letters that Japanese people use in their language to make their written language freaking difficult to read?)
bluejeans07: Okay, kanji is beyond me XD
James: It's probably more polite for me to speak to you in English, anyway. =D
James: I asked if you could read kanji.
bluejeans07: "Something something ga yomukoto ga dekimasuka"
bluejeans07: XD
bluejeans07: I can recognize very small amounts of kanji xD
James: But not the kanji for kanji... XD
bluejeans07: Ne ne, I've been watching Hana Kimi dorama lately *_*
bluejeans07: I'm falling for Ikuta Toma D: Another Johnny's boy. They need to stop being such cute dorks
James: あ!ともだちがこのドラマをみて、あります。(AH! My pal be watchin' that took, yo.)
James: でもぼくがみません。(But I'm not because I'm clearly not so awesome)
bluejeans07: Ehhhhh? You should XD
bluejeans07: Although Sean would make fun of you XD
bluejeans07: And me
James: ひらがなはむすかしいよむよ!XD (It's hard to read hiragana!)
bluejeans07: It's easier to read hiragana than kanji D:
James: ときどきぼくのアイエム、よむことができません。 :D (I SPOUT RANDOM GIBBERISH TO CONFUSE JEAN!)
bluejeans07: Okay, that sentence I don't understand XD
James: ひらがなはちんぶんかんと思います。(Hiragana is something that Jean doesn't remember so she can't translate this sentence. JAMES SUCKS)
James: ごめん、*おもいます。(I'm sorry, I'm an ass and I mistyped something into kanji that Jean doesn't understand anyway)
bluejeans07: ちんぶんかんと? (EXPLAIN DIS WORD TO ME!)
James: ちんぶんかんは「なになになにブラブラブラ」です。:D (This word means whatwhatwhatpurapurapura!)
bluejeans07: O_O
bluejeans07: Whaaaaaaat? XD
James: Gibberish!:D

James: グウウウ~~! (DAHUHUHU!)
James: ぼくはからかせおばけ! (I BE DA KARAKASA MONSTER!)
bluejeans07: WAH! KOWAI! *crycrycry* (Wah, I be a scared wimp!)
James: だって!からかさおばけはしたしみやすいです! (But! Karakasa are FRIENDLY monsters!)
bluejeans07: Shitashimi?
James: Friendly.
bluejeans07: Ohhhhhhhhhhhh
Oh, I need to put together some kind of cute, punky piratey outfit for Tabitha's pirate photoshoot at the beach! I'm mostly going as a photographer but I so want to wear something!! I have ideas... but I think I'm going to need advice since I'm seriously no punk girl. I like the music all right but I enjoy the fashions so much more! XD More on this later!
