HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Nov. 22nd, 2007 11:46 pmThere was much gorging. This year, Aunt M came down from Washington with my cousin Alex, mostly because Alex had a tennis tournament nearby in Irvine. I had gone to visit them after Christmas two years ago and had quite a few adventures, and I haven't seen them in awhile...
Alex is thirteen and 5'11". Holy jolly tennis playing giant. There were many jokes directed at my aunt about disbelief that something that tall came out of her. XD There was also this conversation:
Alex: *sitting at the kids table on the floor, folding his long, long legs to try to find a comfortable seat* This table too small!
Jonathan: Yeah, this table's made for Koreans so only half of you can fit!
There was much turkey gorged. With kimchee! Mmmm. However, there is a bit of sadness: my uncle and his family are heading back to Korea tomorrow. I'm losing my favorite photo model who so obligingly let me dress her up for Halloween. :( I'm going to miss them but I'm glad that they came and were here for a year... it's going to be weird to have them be far away again.
Hope everyone's Thanksgiving was foodful!
