Underneath Mickey were the words "This is what I think".
It pretty much applies to today, yesterday and probably what the rest of this week and next week might be like.
But I'm cheerier right now after a long hot shower, painting my toe nails, and reading Hikki's blog. Oh Hikki! <3
She posts a lot of pictures in her blog, usually of something held in her hand and she has such pretty nails! I don't have the patience to keep my hands still for painting my nails so I painted my toe nails.
I discovered my silver sparkly nail polish was no more. D: Sad Jean. I wanted to do sparkly pink nails with sparkly silver tips because that's what Hikki had and it looked really pretty. D:
Been listening to a lot of Hikki at work lately too. I showed one of them to Paul, the art director, and moaned at him at how badly I wanted the sparkly boots she was wearing in the video. They made her tall too! <3 Paul understood, but Paul understands women more than most men seem to. :P
After a rather 'interesting' lunch conversation, I realized industry is so full of men making stuff for men, no wonder most women don't watch animation. Even if stuff is tried to be made for women, it's men making them so the women in the shows don't talk or act like real women. Makes me relatively crabby, but it makes sense why I love children's animation so much since they're more gender neutral and the numbers seem more balance there.
Also, because of the lunch conversation, I'm apparently the most honest woman in the world.
"A man lies worse than a woman does, but a woman lies more! She's wearing make up? She doesn't look like that! She's wearing high heels? She's not that tall! That's also not her natural hair color!"
I also got called 'nerdpants' today. Not sure how to take that.
