So many fleas on poor kitty. I comb and comb and comb and comb and comb him but I still find them. And I find flea dust everywhere on him too. The vet says he's too young for Frontline so all I can do is comb him, but I feel like I'm not making any progress with the poor guy. -_- We rubbed him down with some warm paper towels last night to clean him but we can't give him a bath because his body temperature might drop. Just looking at him makes me feel itchy, I think I better do laundry tomorrow just to make sure... *sighs*
I'm also worried... he's not eating. He ate at the vet's office but he doesn't seem to be interested in his food right now. He's also kind of weak and listless, he won't play, he might be anemic... *worryworryworry*
Dammit, I has new mommy syndrome.
Edit: I fed him. He chowed down. Haha, he's okay after all. XD

Date: 2008-10-20 04:38 pm (UTC)When my dog had some fleas and we tried a bunch of flea treatments that didn't work, my mom eventually bought this natural anti-flea water supplement. It's basically vinegar, lemon and some other found-in-nature compound that you put in your pet's water. (I think it's mostly the vinegar, actually) If you put a little (not too much) into the kitty's water over a period of a couple days/week or two, the fleas will stop biting and leave the kitty entirely because they can't stand the taste of blood once the vinegar gets into it. That might be something you can do for your kitty without having to buy Frontline or some other shampoo treatment, if they're able to drink water with vinegar in it without getting sick.
