So would that make it 10 things?
babysnowleopard gave me these:
1. Blue: I love blue! I don't know WHEN I started loving blue but the color fits me and I've gotten my usernames out of it so I'm happy. XD
2. Kitties: The thing is, I've always loved cats but I'm definitely a bit more of a dog person. Most of my friends are cat people and while I wasn't allergic to cats when I was little, I developed an allergy around middle school when I slept over at Anne's house. Anne had around four cats around that time and I went home sneezing, watery eyed and with a headache. When I got home though and got cleaned up, I felt a lot better and that's when I discovered I had become allergic. D: I was pretty unhappy with it, I love cats and I love hugging and holding and petting them and to not be able to do that anymore was pretty upsetting. Thankfully, it seems I've outgrown my allergies to cats (although now I have one to bunnies, what gives?!) and I was able to own my own baby kitty! My kitty Atom ran in front of my aunt's car last October and I ended up hopping out and catching the little gray and white kitten with my jacket. Originally, I had been talking to Anne to see if her parents wanted to take him in but as it turned out, we ended up keeping him! Atom's now a member of our family and everybody loves him so I'm soooo glad I now have a kitty of my own! As I write this, he's curled up beside me on the sofa and purring as my brother plays with him <3
3. crafty stuff: Crafting is another way of funneling my creativity. I love to craft things and finding new ways to make useful things that I need such as clothes, or just shiny things that I want. That's one of the reasons why I got into cosplay in the first place and now I use those skills into making fun things for my friends and myself!
4. Arashi XD!: A-RA-SHI A-RA-SHI FOR DREAM! <3<3<3 Ahhhh my boyband! I LOVE ARASHI! IT'S ALL KIE'S FAULT. :P Hahaa, so what ended up happening was that I was over at Kie and Paff's apartment and Kie had been playing Johnney's PVs on her computer. Sakura Sake had been popping up a lot and I loved how funny and cute the boys were! I also spied Matsujun and it was pretty much love at first sight because I had been drawing and writing a character for my Harry Potter RP that looked a LOT like him, so Matsujun ended up becoming my character's PB! Kie also sent me all of their music videos, tons of mp3s and pictures and I've learned each member and I love them all! I want to be their friend because they always always have so much fun together, whether it be baby sitting kids and cooking their dinners to doing stupid things like seeing if they can row to an island in a cardboard boat, or eating delicious food! They've also gained notoriety in the States, Ninomiya was in 'Letters from Iwo Jima' directed by Clint Eastwood (GREAT MOVIE WATCH IT WATCH IT) and Matsujun and Sho Sakurai were brought over to promote their movies! I even got to STAND RIGHT IN FRONT OF MATSUJUN! WE WERE FACE TO FACE FOR LIKE TWO SECONDS! I love their music and all the dramas that they're in, but overall, I love them for being such distinct different people but have this enormous friendship and compassion for each other. <3
5. 70's anime :o Y'know all that old-school stuff you watched when you were little!: HAHAHA 70'S ANIME!! I grew up watching a lot of old anime that my grandparents would rent from Koreatown. All the anime had been dubbed into Korean so for a long time, I thought it was all made in Korea! Lately, I've been trying to find out what I've watched and have been rewatching/listening to 'Candy Candy' while I'm at work. That series is so cute! I've only seen up to a certain part so now I'm slowly going through the entire series. I've also grown up with Speed Racer, G-Force/Gatchaman, Mazinger Z, Robotech, Galaxy Express 999, Atom/Astro Boy, Mado King Granzor, Magical Emi, Mahou no Yousei Pelsia (now we're getting into the 80's girly anime...) and I'm sure there's a whole lot more that I don't remember the names to. Anyway, this is all stuff I've grown up with, no wonder I'm the way I am now! I got to revisit these old girly animes for a project at work recently and it just made me so nostalgic! I've been sending links to Kie and Paff too, haha! I miss anime from back then, there's quite a difference from anime back then to now!
