Okay, Moping Time Over!
Sep. 2nd, 2009 11:15 pmMy cat does backflips in order to catch a fly. Sweet!
Anyway, done moping for now, no doubt I'll have other reasons to mope later on. But I've kept myself busy and I'm feeling better. A clear indicator of me feeling better has been that I've been super productive lately, today especially. I seriously kicked a lot of ass at work, every task list and note that came at me today got smited by my Hammer of Ahrt, well, stylus and cintiq. Also, I did an entire painting that I feel really good about during my mopey days. It's connected to a bigger project that I'm working on with my good buddy Sam so hopefully I'll continue to be super productive and be able to tell people more about it soon. I'm having a blast doing it so yay!
Various things that happened:
* Ended up spending a few days at Mandy's while the house was being fumigated. Took the cat with me. Cat was unhappy, but I had a lot of fun! We watched a lot of old Doctor Who, had pina colada, noodles and cheese, and celebrated Mandy's birthday! Also watched Ponyo for the second time, movie is still awesome.
* Went to Lady Boss's birthday party at her apartment with Ilana. Funtimes!! Watched Akira and played Little Big World.
* Began reading 'Good Omens' again. I LOVE that book.
* Twittered a lot and watched other people Tweet. I kind of love twitter but I never have much to say about myself even though I have plenty to say to other people! My tweets end up being, "Oh god, so bored, can I go home yet?!"
* Oh, btw, I'm
ask_thehubtosh in the AskWorld Torchwood RP. I get to be a GHOST IN A MACHIIINEEE! Made lots of new friends through that, HI NEW FRIENDS! Read their Torchwood fics, they're fab!
* Am now completely addicted to BBC Radio, especially Radio 7. I BLAME YOU,
twirlynoodle!! Right now, I'm happily listening to 'Murder Must Advertise' that's been dramatized, not to mention 'What Ho, Jeeves!' Also listening to this great radio comedy drama that David Tennant is in, forgetting the name of it but he plays half of a married couple that has decided not to have children and thus has to put up with the children of his married friends and relatives.
* Bought plane tickets to go see Alix in October since I'll be unemployed and thus will have time!
* Also decided that since it's getting closer to the end of the year and that's when jobs get scarce, I'm going to look into setting up a small t-shirt design business on etsy. It'll prepare me for Comic Con, not to mention CHRISTMAS GIFTS. XD
* Watched all of 'Being Human', which is amazing and SO quotable! Highly recommend it!
* Also watched all of 'Bob and Rose' out of sheer curiosity and also, REALLY enjoyed it! Subject matter is iffy and definitely makes people uncomfortable so watch with an open mind.
* Watched 'Spamalot' this past Sunday! Always look on the briiiight side of liiiifeeee! Good way to end this post, really.

2) do you (or more appropriately, can you) know of a place that can silkscreen or print a design on a full length t-shirt sleeve all the way around it? I have an idea for a shirt featuring my webcomic character Adam Rarnar's iArm and his blue uniform for his company. I'd like to have the iArm on the whole of the full-length left sleeve, with the blue uniform making up the rest of the shirt, but I've not had much luck finding a place that can do that yet. Inexpensively, at least, and in small quantities.
