I just watched Glee for the first time ever and that, with a combination of just feeling crappy, makes me want to GO KARAOKE MY LUNGS OUT. Neil Patrick Harris! Les Miz! Idina Menzel singing I Dreamed a Dream! I need me some SHOWTUNES!!
One Day More from Les Miz
Cabaret from Cabaret
The Age of the Cathedrals from Notre Dame de Paris
The Riddle from The Scarlett Pimpernel (Uhh, ignore the vid... well, no, the vid is awesome if you like the Professor Layton games)
Le Jazz Hot from Victor/Victoria (*bows down to Dame Julie*)
If I Can't Love Her from Beauty and the Beast
No One But You from We Will Rock You
I Know Him So Well from Chess (I know it's not the musical version, BUT I LOVE THIS VERSION SO MUCH)
We Are What We are from La Cage Aux Folles (my favorite song EVER to sing at karaoke is 'I Am What I Am' but I couldn't resist posting this vid because OMG THE COSTUMES!)
And this is just too awesome not to post:
A Spoonful of Sugar from Mary Poppins sung by Kristen Chenoweth
EDIT: OH MY GOD, THERE'S A SUPERMAN MUSICAL?!
AHAHAHA IT ACTUALLY EXISTS!!

Date: 2010-05-19 09:34 am (UTC)Its a 1966 (the same year Batman was being goofy as shit on TV) musical written by the folks who did Bye Bye Birdy. You can kinda imagine it now.
It's got some fantastic songs in it though, including a number called Doing Good sung by Superman while he gets redressed as Clark and of course its highlight song You've Got Possibilities in which this chick Sydney keeps trying to come on to Clark and she keeps accidentally revealing the suit beneath his clothes without paying attention. It's GREAT.
