Phone Update: TECHNOLOGYYYY *shakefist*

When I got to Verizon today and showed them the now two broken pieces of my phone, they pretty much told me that it was all my fault and clearly, I'm not the sort of person who deserves a nice phone. Telling them that I only had this phone since the end of July (right before Comic Con, when something happened to the slider of the previous version of the phone and the screen went all white), didn't do anything. Considering the only thing I did to this phone was use it, and I didn't throw it around the room or use it as a hackey sack, I was pretty upset at being told that there's nothing they could do. They couldn't prove that I didn't misuse my phone so clearly, I didn't deserve a new one. Also, my next phone update wasn't until July of next year. The only thing I could do was take an old cellphone that my family already had (it was my uncle's when he was living in the States for a year), transfer my number onto it, and use it.

This would be a whole lot easier if my phone and my macbook could sync up and I could transfer my contact list, but nope, macbook has decided that it hates the phone with a passion and the phone has refused to connect with the mac on any level. I've scolded the two pieces of technology but to no avail. Macbook is clearly much too hipster for phone with its silver case and Hello Kitty keyboard, while phone is too straight laced in its black matte case and is a cock-sucking slave for the Man. I do agree with macbook a bit though, phone's not even cool enough to have a space for danglies! Where are my Supes and Wondy danglies going to go?!

Anyway, what's been agreed upon is that Brother 1 is going to upgrade his phone to a droid and I'll get his current phone, which is a newer model and has a texting keyboard, which I need. The only problem is that the Brother 1 is extremely slow at doing, well, anything, and I know it's going to take a long time and a lot of nagging that I don't want to do to get him to do it. Sigh.

In conclusion: it doesn't matter how cute and purple they are, Motorola phones suck, Verizon sucks, dark chocolate Kit-Kats are awesome, and I have way too much stuff to do. I'm going to listen to Good Omens on audiobook, work on my (long, loooong) storyboarding homework, and force Superman and Batman ringtones on my uncooperative phone.

I can lend you my mother if you like. She generally threatens people with lawsuits and makes things happen, which I am in awe of.

I'm not even kidding. One time she threatened to sue the local bus company for embezzling money because the bus was too full to pick my sister and I up for school one day. It never happened again and the dumb bus company didn't even realise you can't litigate criminal actions like that.
