This is a super easy recipe that a Trader Joe's employee told Alix and me when we expressed sadness that they weren't selling their pre-made pizza crust anymore. Naan bread makes a great mini pizza crust, garlic naan even more so!
Ingredients
Naan bread or garlic naan
Tomato sauce or pesto
Mozzarella cheese (Trader Joe's also sells this awesome mozzarella cheese that has been marinaded in olive oil, hot peppers and other tasty herbs)
Toppings of your choice (we used Italian sausage, bell peppers, garlic and onions)
Preheat oven to around 350 degrees.
Pre-cook some toppings, like the Italian sausage, bell peppers, onions and garlic.
Put the naan bread on a cookie sheet or an oven safe pan. Brush on a bit of olive oil at the bottom, then cover it in tomato sauce or pesto sauce. Sprinkle the cheese on top, then put on the toppings. Place them into the oven and cook until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Easy and fast! :D
