What Would Sonic Do?

Due to a change in her lease, my best friend is being forced to give up her beautiful hedgehogs: Sherlock and Watson. Hedgehogs are not illegal in the state of Indiana but for some strange reason, her building management is now categorizing them as ‘wild animals’. However, not only are they forcing her to give up her pets immediately, they are also punishing her for having them. Despite letting them know she owned them (she owned Sherlock before she moved in and got Watson shortly after), they are claiming to have ‘discovered’ these pets in her apartment and slapped a $300 penalty fee for her to pay. This is NOT right.
So I am asking, if ANYONE has any information that can help her or if anyone in the Indianapolis, IN area who has experience caring for hedgehogs can take in Watson and Sherlock, at least temporarily, please comment here: http://never-ender.livejournal.com/708722.html
