To break or not to break?

Everytime I want to run away from school crying about the workload, I keep running back because I want to learn more X_X; But my new teacher, Dallas, is a guy I've known since my first term since he would always sit in my head drawing class drawing the models. My friends and I thought he was a student at first, but he set us straight. He's a pretty young guy too and REALLY TALL.
Or I think he's a young guy. I don't know how old he was when he came to ACCD, but he said that he took a lot of terms off because of working for various internships and just not being able to do more than two terms. And, because of all work and the experience he's gained, he had a full ride through ACCD because of all the extra stuff in his portfolio!! From a guy who spent classtimes for the first two terms asleep on the counter, now is one of the best professors at school. He said he'd show us his resume sometime, but did list quite a few things he has worked on, like Tarzan and various other Disney films, some games, etc. X_X
Wow. Seriously, wow. I'm looking at myself now and wondering if I should take a term off so that I could try getting an internship and get my foot into the door. I want to try working in the real world, I want a taste of it and test myself how far I can endure. I want to draw my webcomic and work... I really really want to. I don't know WHEN I'm going to do this, but I've gone through three terms straight and on my fourth one with no more than three-four week breaks in-beween. I think I'm nuts, but I was following what my parents wanted me to do. There are SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO DO and I keep trying to do them all to the point of stressing out. But when I just do homework, I can't be happy since it's _homework_. Maybe that's why I have so many hobbies.
And I'm thinking about all this when this is only the FIRST WEEK of school X_X
