RPG contemplations

bluejeans07As you people know, I've been partaking in a GW RPG... well two GW RPGs. ^o^;;; Anyway, LJ cut for people who are interested in my thoughts and opinions about it! I don't think I'll be writing anything offensive, forgive me if you do take offense for it though, it's one tiny opinion out of many ^^;

Recently, Solacium, the RPG I take part in replaced their Heero and Duos with new ones. Umm... to make it easier, I'll just use their LJ names. Anyway, the old Heero (duonekophile) and Duo (duoneko) have their own RPG now which I do take part. I just read the new Heero (nomorespandex... that name makes me giggle), and Duo (dmaxwell)'s ljs and I really really like what I see.
To be honest, when I first started in Solacium, I was slightly annoyed because I thought the characters felt very non-canon and more like a bunch of people writing lemons during a chat. There was a time I very seriously started considering stopping. As I got more into it, I started to like the characters more as well as the people who played them.
Personally, my favorites became Wufei and Trowa because they played their characters strongly, and I had the most meaningful interactions with them. I don't know what's with me and talking to people who I really don't know about my personal feelings, (maybe it's because Asktheseishi.com rp) but I had a long chat with Wufei about how I didn't really like this one girl and no matter what I did, I couldn't seem to like. Now I'm thinking that I needed it from an outsider's point of view, especially since everyone pretty much knows everyone else, and the girl is friends with a lot of my friends. Cosplay binds us all!! X_X Overall, talking with Wufei about it made me feel a lot better and that it was okay not to enjoy being in that girl's presence and that certain people won't always get along. Despite being twenty (recently turned, mind you!), I've been very sheltered for a good chunk of my life so a lot of things that I feel now are completely alien and drives me crazy. I was completely guilt-tripping myself for not liking her, especially since I do end up liking everyone I come in contact with X_X
Okay, I went off on a tangent there X_X So yes, I liked Wufei and Trowa the best. Then Noin and Zechs joined the team, and I really started to like Noin A LOT! Her entries are really funny! She gave Noin a side of humor to the otherwise... hmm... umm... Zechs-oriented, calm, controlled personality, which I really really like. Another big plus was that she posted regularly. For a long time, it was Wufei, Trowa, duoneko, and duonekophile that posted the most. Quatre posted quite a bit too and he also played the moderator, but I never really seemed to warm up to him. I like him okay but so many entries are WEI oriented or very umm... yeeaaaaaaaah *blushblush* Noin and Zechs don't come on AIM tho =( That's a major sad thing for me because I'd love to talk to Noin some more.
Duoneko and duonekophile I liked okay as well, but there were certain entries I couldn't bring myself to read because of lemony-ness and I spent a good part of my online experience at school because of lack of cable. Now these two were the ones I had trouble liking the most because... it was too much like two bunnies getting it on ^^;; I did end up liking them in the end, but to me, they are the most difficult to talk to. Probably because they're the most popular (I prefer Heero myself XD) and there's always lots of people to talk to. Their entries seemed to follow a pattern of lust-love-sex-cuddling between problems for Heero with a job, then Heero getting his own computer shop (Duo didn't seem to do anything except wait for Heero to come back) for a good part of the time too, but now since they have their own RP, there may be some more intersting things. And they included a PUG in the RP! Yay for pugs!
I do like what I see so far of nomorespandex and dmaxwell. For one thing, they're not in a relationship yet although there is some serious feelings there and I get to see what happens! Their living situacion and a few other things are interesting as well as different, and they seem to keep in character very well. I'm looking forward to see what they'll do.
Hmm, other than that... I would like to see a Relena in the RPG. She was a huge part in the series so I don't see why not that she shouldn't be brought in. Maybe she will!
I like the fangirls that I meet too! They're funny and really sweet, very nice to talk to and joke around with! *huggles to da fangirls!*
And Trowa, if you're reading this, I think you should start thinking about an art education ^_~ For that, you don't really need transcripts and high scores, but you need a good portfolio of strong artwork! Whaddya say?

Wuffers is a fave of mine, and I've always loved Zechs, Duo, Noin, and Hilde. I can even appreciate Relena. ^_^
